![]() Singer-songwriter Seth Glier kicks off the summer festival season with performances at some of folk music’s greatest festivals. Glier’s summer 2010 festival schedule starts off with a slot on the mainstage at the Kerrville Folk Festival (June 5th & 6th), Plymouth Folk Festival (July 11th), Falcon Ridge Folk Festival (July 23rd – 25th), and The Grassy Hill Song Circle at the Connecticut Folk Festival (Sept. 10th). Seth also returns to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival supporting Rachael Sage August 15th – 30th in Edinburgh, UK. Kerrville Folk Festival is the longest continuously running music festival of its kind in North America with 18 straight days and nights from May through June. The Festival is known internationally as a Mecca for singer songwriters of varying musical styles. Seth will perform the mainstage on Saturday. June 5th at 7:00 PM and at the Ballad Tree on Sunday, June 6th at 3:00 PM. Since 1988 the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival has been an American tradition celebrating folk-oriented music and dance in Hillsdale, NY. Seth will conduct two vocal/music workshops on Friday, July 23rd at 12 noon & Sunday, July 25th at 3:00 PM and perform on the mainstage Saturday, July 24th at 12 noon. Glier will play the 2nd Annual Plymouth Harbor Folk Festival in Plymouth, MA on Sunday, July 11th at 12noon and perform at the historic Plymouth MA Pilgrim Memorial Park. He will also perform at the Connecticut Folk Festival & Green Expo on Friday, September 10th at 7:30 PM. Just in! Seth will return to Scotland for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as part of the cast of Rachael Sage's “Stop Me If I’m Kvetching…” show at The C Central Cabaret Bar that will run from August 15th – 30th.
